These pecan cookies are amazing. Pecan nuts are so nutritious and a great source of calcium, magnesium, and potassium, which help lower blood pressure.

✨ 1 cup all-purpose flour
✨ 1/2 cup softened vegan butter
✨ 2 tsp of cinnamon
✨ 1 tsp of nutmeg
✨ 1/2 cup brown sugar (add more or less depending on your preference)
✨ 1/2 cup chopped pecans
✨ 2 tbsp non dairy milk
✨ 1 tsp vanilla
✨ 1/4 tsp salt
✨ 1 tsp baking powder

1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. First, mix together butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and milk. 
3. In a separate bowl, mix together dry ingredients: flour, salt, and baking powder.
4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, and stir until combined.
5. Next, fold in the chopped pecans until evenly dispersed.

6. Place your cookie dough mixture in the fridge for 1-2 hours to set ⏰ 
7. Using a cookie scooper, place equal amounts of dough into round circles on your baking sheet. 
8. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until sides look golden brown.
