You’ll absolutely love these cheesy tofu breakfast wraps! So easy to make too. Tofu is full of protein, naturally low in calories and so versatile. It can be included in a variety of different dishes and I've recently discovered that it also tastes amazing in wraps!

 

Ingredients (makes 4 medium sized wraps)

  • 170g of tofu, crumbled 
  • 4 tsp of tinned tomato sauce
  • 2 tsp of nutritional yeast 
  • 2 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp of smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp of basil
  • 1 tsp of soya sauce
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • Grated @applewood_cheese
  • Tortilla wraps 

Method

  1. Start by crumbling your tofu block in a pan over medium heat. Add the tomato sauce and the chopped tomatoes, garlic powder, paprika, basil, soya sauce, nutritional yeast, salt & pepper. Stir well for several mins. 
  2. Spread some tomato sauce on the tortilla wraps then fill with the tofu mix.
  3. Grate the smoked applewood cheese on top of the wraps.
  4. Heat the wrap for several mins in the pan until the cheese melts.
