This pasta is so creamy and such a comforting meal. It's delicious, simple and easy to make. What's not to love?!

Ingredients

  • Pasta for 2 people
  • 100g if chestnut mushrooms
  • 1 cup of frozen peas
  • 2 tbsp of all purpose flour
  • 2tsp of lemon juice
  • 2 cups of soya milk @alpro
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • 1 tsp of oil


Method

  1. Cook your pasta (as per the instructions on the packet)
  2. Heat your oil in a pan over medium heat. As the oil has heated up, add your flour and whisk / stir thoroughly so there are no bits.
  3. Add the soya milk and lemon juice all at once and continue to stir
  4. Add the minced, garlic, chopped mushrooms and peas. Cook for 10-15 mins until your sauce has thickened. If it’s not thick enough, add some more flour and stir in with the soya milk.
  5. Mix the sauce with your pasta. Season with salt and pepper.
